** 2019 chosen charities announcement**
As you may know, our event is organised by Castlegregory Celtic F.C. and is an entirely not-for-profit event with all proceeds going to sports clubs and different chosen charities each year. To date we have donated over €25000 in the past 5 years!! So, by taking part you are not only getting to run in one of the most scenic runs in the world but you are helping good causes too. It's a win-win!
This year we are delighted to announce that we will be donating to the following bodies after our event:
- The Maharees Conservation association
- Friends From Ireland
- Aughacasla National School
- Scoil Náisiúnta an Clochán
